Huh that's around 60 9/11's worth of death. I thought that 9/11 was the worst event in American history and we had to go to war and also restrict Americans freedom with the Patriot act to "protect" us. Oh well I guess we know the Republicans never cared about 9/11. This is especially true with society-wide issues like politics and policy, which they view as non-real and abstract (compared to real things like what is right in front of them). The same people who would give charity and help someone who is right in front of them will vehemently oppose a liberal policy which accomplishes the same thing, because their authority told them that liberals are evil and that's the fan fiction they like best.

When I couldn't write my vows. I knew when I couldn't come up with anything, it wasn't right. I was 22 and he was in his 30s. I got married anyway. Before our one year anniversary I developed severe panic attacks and an extreme mood disorder. I did some really shitty things and then just left. The thing is, he was a wonderful dude. Literally one of the best people I've ever met. He was an incredibly good influence on my life. But I didn't love him. I didn't even try to stick it out. I felt guilty about it for years, dealt with depression and suicidal ideation. I lost my entire support network of friends and family (rightfully so). I basically just ran away. After hard work, therapy, and developing good habits, I got better. Found the love of my life and have been with him for 7 years now. We frequently see situations like this, where someone in a very high stress situation (multiple cops trying to restrain, punch and taze him), doesn't react in a way that makes sense to an outside observer, but probably made sense to them at the time.
