I think in lots of ways he was like Obama, especially in retrospect: set aside the actual policies and whatever accomplishments for a moment and you're left with a really well-spoken and handsome guy who you could be proud was representing your country. If either of them was dealing with a foreign leader or a crisis, you might not agree with all they said or did, but they sure as hell wouldn't make America look bad or foolish, and that's worth something.

He was terrifying this episode. Every scene he's in, and even the ones he's not. I was just waiting for him to kill someone. At least with Stormfront, I know white characters are probably safe. I'll have to re-watch it. I couldn't enjoy any of the Hughie/Starlight or Butcher/Becca scenes because I was afraid of Homelander popping out of nowhere. Same here! I was just waiting for Homelander to interrupt Hughie and Starlight singing or for him to show up at Becca's house. I didn't think she'd make it back when she told Butcher to wait for her.
