Not only you but a lot of people in this thread are suggesting these people pictured are suffering from poverty. I don’t necessarily see it. What I see is a relatively well maintained house, barring the one cracked step. Some well clothed children, and seemingly acres of farmland. edit: ill add that it wouldnt be uncommon for the family to not have electricity, indoor plumbing or even enough food for the family on a daily basis. Appalachia is full of abject poverty. I dont think its a stretch to call this third world conditions.

He was terrifying this episode. Every scene he's in, and even the ones he's not. I was just waiting for him to kill someone. At least with Stormfront, I know white characters are probably safe. I'll have to re-watch it. I couldn't enjoy any of the Hughie/Starlight or Butcher/Becca scenes because I was afraid of Homelander popping out of nowhere. Same here! I was just waiting for Homelander to interrupt Hughie and Starlight singing or for him to show up at Becca's house. I didn't think she'd make it back when she told Butcher to wait for her.
