In Canada it’s always on a weekday too, but there’s a law that says everyone must have at least 4 consecutive hours between 8am-8pm, so if someone is working 10am-6pm, the employer must give 2 hours off on one side.Over here in Germany, we only have one day to vote, but you can request a mail ballot if you for some reason can't or don't want to go to the polls. Plus it's always on Sundays where everything besides emergency services and restaurants is closed. Polling stations are everywhere, so manning them over more than one day would be an issue I feel.

I’m a vet tech. One day, when I was a new, fresh tech, a kitty came in blocked. What this means is, he couldn’t urinate. This happens specifically to male cats because their urethra is narrow, and they get bladder stones, that get stuck and block them. It’s absolutely deadly. Just an FYI for you pet owners. If your pet isn’t able to pee, it will die. QUICK! As in 12-48 hours quick.ANYWAYS. The vet had given this very painful kitty a sedative. And two techs had him on his back while the doc was trying to pass a urinary catheter. Well he wasn’t FULLY sedated, and was straining to get away. Well I guess he strained hard, and the piss jetted out from the catheter and arced beautifully directly into my mouth, which was open in awe. I don’t think he got robbed. Jones was impressive as hell. It could have gone either way. AG did hit Tacko’s head.
